A 10-day course for those with little or no experience of 360° Tracked Excavator Above 10 Tonnes.
Experienced but need a formal qualification? Consider our 3-day course.
Get your CPCS Trained Operator (red) card if you pass the technical tests.
Course content
- Operate the Excavator 360° Tracked and understand its capabilities
- Fit supplementary equipment
- Interpreting level pegs and profiles
- Work to levels with the aid of laser equipment
- Safety precautions
- Routine servicing, adjustments and procedures.
Teaching and assessment
9 days of classroom learning and practical exercises
1-day CPCS technical tests

Entry requirements
- CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test passed within two years of course start date.
- Good spoken and written English.
