This half-day course is intended for operators to undertake the procedures required and conform to legislation and manufacturers recommendations within maximum efficiency and eco operating

Course Specification: Eco Operator Training
NOCN Group have produced this Assured Course in association with Flannery Plant Hire, L Lynch and CPA to raise awareness and understanding of the impact of construction plant on the environment. Delegates will be aware of the impact of plant operation emissions on the local and global environment and understand how they can help reduce this impact through efficient use of plant in construction.
The outline, structure and content of this course is assured by NOCN Group.
Course content
This course aims to raise awareness and understanding of the following:
- The impact that plant operations can have on people, society and the environment
- Why government and construction industry is committed to Carbon Zero initiatives
- Causes and factors of climate change related to plant operations
- What engine emissions are, how they are caused and how they affect others
- How planning of work and operating efficiently leads to emissions reductions and fuel savings.
Teaching and assessment
The course is assessed via a multiple-choice question paper covering the general elements of the Eco Operator Training. Delegates must achieve a minimum of 80% to pass this assessment.
Qualifications you get
Certification is then applied for by the provider once the delegates have completed the course.
In-company course
This course can be booked by employers to train groups of workers, you can have up to 6 delegates on a course.
