This two-day course is for Site Supervisors.
It explains your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.
You will get a renewable CITB Site Safety Plus Certificate.

Course content
The course includes:
- The Health and Safety at Work Act
- Regular issues affecting site supervisors
- Effective toolbox talks
- Supervision of occupational health
- Behavioural safety.
Teaching and assessment
Classroom-based group work and discussion, case studies, presentations and homework
Multiple-choice exam
You must attend all 15 hours as per the Site Safety Plus attendance requirements
What you get
CITB Renewable Site Safety Plus Certificate. This must be renewed every five years by passing the SSSTS Refresher course before your certificate expiry date.
The price also includes publications, registration, certification, lunch and refreshments.
Entry requirements
- Good spoken and written English.
- Valid form of ID. See accepted forms of ID.
- Employers enrolling employees on weekend courses must reimburse them for their time.

Technical requirements for remote courses
- Delegates attending remote courses must have sufficient IT skills to fully participate.
- Delegates must have a webcam-enabled PC or laptop that meets the following minimum system requirements:
Minimum PC system requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 (not Windows RT or S)
- Processor: Pentium (2009) / Core i3 2 GHz or equivalent
- Memory: 2GB
- Disk space: At least 10GB free recommended
- Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 or greater
- Graphics: Any Direct3D 9 compatible, 128MB
- Internet: Broadband internet connection required for installation, updates, web media and links.
- Other: Microsoft Internet Explorer 11. Adobe Reader and Microsoft PowerPoint are required to view some content.
The subscription content can be viewed online in a web browser or in a dedicated viewer app for one of the following platforms:
- Windows
- MacOS
- iOS
- Android.
