CDM for Clients 

Cost: £195 no VAT charged
Funding: CITB grant payable of £60 per person to eligible companies
Duration: 1 day
Locations: In-person (nationwide) and remote (online). Employers can also hold the course at the venue of their choice for 6-16 workers. Find out more by emailing NCC.

This one-day course is designed for any type of client, commercial or otherwise, who needs to carry out construction projects.

You will learn about your contractor responsibilities under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.

A CITB National Construction College Certificate is available on passing the course.

The course includes:

  • CDM 2015 overview and application
  • Duty holder appointments and responsibilities
  • Preparation of client briefs and pre-construction information
  • Construction phase plan requirements
  • Project notification requirements
  • Health and safety.

You will also gain an understanding of the following:

  • The legal position of the client
  • Duty holder roles such as Principal Contractor, Principal Designer, Contractors and Designers
