This one-day course gives an overview of your contractor responsibilities under the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2015.
It’s suitable for organisations and individuals involved in all types of construction work.
You’ll get a CITB National Construction College Certificate for passing the course.
Course content
The course includes:
- CDM 2015 overview
- Appointments and responsibilities of duty holders, such as Principal Designers, Designers, Principal Contractors and Contractors
- Pre-construction preparation, including client briefs
- Using design to eliminate, reduce or control risks
- Planning, managing and monitoring construction work
- Construction phase plan requirements
- Application of CDM Part 4 'General requirements for all construction sites'
- Health and safety requirements.

Classroom-based discussion and case studies
