The project will deliver 50 VQ level 2 and 3 qualifications to operatives and supervisors in the specialist sector in Scotland.
The project will also provide 50 appropriate HSE tests and CSCS cards, thus offering recognition of their skills and experience.
The project will target hard to reach CITB registered employers who have not previously engaged in training or assessment.
Qualify 50 operatives from 5 CITB registered, specialist sector contractors with an NVQ level 2 and 3, with associated CSCS cards via OSAT.

End of project summary
The project finished in April 2018. Funding was used to assess experienced and competent workers onsite who did not hold a formal qualifications.
A total of 17 companies participated in the project with 55 experienced workers achieving qualifications in specialist occupations via on-site assessment.
