Here to help

Finding, recruiting and retaining an apprentice or new entrant can be simple, but if you need support we’re on hand to help, every step of the way.

Created to support employers across the UK, this hands-on free support can cover recruitment, paperwork, accessing grants & funding, and ongoing mentoring throughout the apprenticeship.

Our role in the New Entrant Support Team is to work with employers to remove the barriers they may face employing and retaining new entrants, particularly apprentices.

Recruitment

We’ll signpost you to useful employment resources and help advertise your apprenticeship vacancy to attract potential candidates and let them find you – all for free. We’ll help you get the right apprentice.

CITB Funding

We’ll make sure you’re set up to receive CITB apprenticeship grants:
• Attendance grant: £2,500 (per year, per apprentice)
• Achievement grant: £3,500 (on successful completion of the apprenticeship).

Admin

We’ll help you sort the paperwork, liaise with the training provider, set up your Government Digital Account and more so you can focus on the job.

Retention

We’ll keep in touch to make sure you have the support you need to help your apprentice achieve and become a fully-fledged employee on completion.

What our employers are saying

Joe Ainsely Bricklaying: "I wasn’t aware that there were so many grants available and the amount of support there is out there until I talked with you today Kev. Thank you for your time and advice."

Leamac Joinery: "I really appreciate your help Allison, I would have been lost without you doing this for me, like I said I have had an Apprentice in the past and got nothing as I didn’t know how to claim."

Entire Scaffolding: "Since initially enquiring a few things with CITB in February 2024, Theo has supported with my CITB registration, helped submit the apprentice attendance grant, created my CITB online portal and kept me up to date with all processes concerning me."
